VISION STATEMENT:

The vision of Phoebe Hearst Elementary is to provide an elementary education experience that equips our students with a strong academic and social foundation that will empower them to flourish and become lifelong learners and future leaders in the Jefferson Parish community and beyond.

MISSION STATEMENT:

At Phoebe Hearst Elementary, our mission is to inspire the life-long pursuit of learning in all students through a safe environment, challenging and engaging instruction, and the support and encouragement of peers, faculty, and stakeholders in order to empower our students to be future leaders in our community and beyond.

LITERACY PLAN:

The literacy mission of Jefferson Parish Public Schools is to produce proficient life-long readers. We will provide students with purposeful literacy instruction by equipping teachers with the skills needed to support literacy development through purposeful professional development focusing on the Science of Reading.
